When we made the decision to purchase our first home, we had no idea where to start. Someone, who had firsthand experience in working with The Key Project, had referred Jay Justo to us. He is the Owner and Head Broker of the company.

Because we were first time home buyers, there was some education that needed to happen and Jay was great through all that. He was calm, collected, and very professional. He sat down with us to figure out our want/need list, and to go through the ins and outs of the purchasing process. He always showed up on time for appointments with a positive and cheerful demeanor. His diligence and knowledge were very helpful in navigating the purchasing process of a new construction home. He was very responsive to our requests and answered all our questions. He is honest, patient, and did not push us in purchasing a home we would not like. We knew that there is sincerity in finding us a home that fits our needs and lifestyle. With his help, we are now enjoying a beautiful home.

To those who rather not read this lengthy testimony/feedback, please let me start off by providing a quick summary of our experience with The Key Project and our Realtor John Jay Justo (aka JJ) – It was AWESOME and way…BEYOND what we were looking/asking for. So if you are looking for a realtor, no need to look further, The Key Project is it. You will NOT have any regrets. If it is a 5 star rating system, hands down it surpass the 5 stars in customer service, helpfulness, response time, and realtor’s knowledge and experiences.

What started as an initial resource for information gathering (JJ – realtor with 10+ years of experiences), has now became obvious as our lifetime realtor. ☺ This is not our first time in purchasing a home, but the experiences are a total opposite this time around. We never felt pressured with the need to quickly submit an offer (we saw over 30+ houses) or purchasing a home that is above our price point (maxing out on the amount we got pre-approved for). JJ is not just our realtor, but an experienced mentor who guided us in every step of home buying while keeping us on track with the budget we had initially set forth to ensure that we would be able to maintain our purchase long term and not over extend ourselves due to the excitement of our home search journey.

Speaking of journey, we had to overcome many obstacles, with one of them being a four plus months in the pre-approval process. Not only did JJ not gave up or lost patience with us, but he continuously check in, sent us listings, and provide alternatives in getting us pre-approve. JJ was true to his word in being there for the Lee Family once we got pre-approved – saw over 30+ houses, located all over Sacramento, within 2-3 weekends. As a matter of fact, our current residence will be forever remembered as the Super Bowl house. Yes, we viewed our house and placed an offer on the day of Super Bowl, while JJ family patiently awaited for his arrival to the family’s Super Bowl gathering.

Thank you JJ and family for being readily available to assist the Lee Family. It is much appreciated. There will not be another realtor besides The Key Project, Realtor John Jay Justo for the Lee Family. The Lee Family

My fiancée and I actually made a friend through the process because John actually cares. What we really appreciated is the level of integrity that is maintained. You can feel that The Key Project wants to protect you and your best interest. Whenever we had any questions, John made sure he was able to answer us completely and promptly. Let me just say that as a first time home owner, this entire process was crazy scary for me. Both my husband and I had already started looking for homes and didn’t know where to start at all. Everybody kept on asking us if we needed an agent but we went ahead and declined. Then we heard about jason through the great vine.

Let me say HE WAS AWESOME!!! Right when he found out we were looking for our homes, he made sure that we were knowledgable on what to expect and got our immediate input on the type of homes and areas we were looking for. As a San Francicso resident i was wonder that our distance would make it hard for us to work. I WAS SUPER WRONG lol. He took every effort to meet us on our long process of scanning houses. He took the time and effort to find out all he could about the home and neighborhoods surrounding (safety was my number one concern). We looked all over, Peninsula, Eastbay, South Bay EVERYWHERE. He presented us houses that were realistic and attainable (by request).

We put in a couple of offers but fate would say that it was definitely not meant to be. I had almost stopped actively looking.

We searched high and low and FINALLY, through jason, we found the house that we were looking for!!! It wasn’t’ even listed and was actually only taking private viewings and we managed to squeeze in on the very last day.

It It Literally Changed our lives! We pulled the trigger that day and let me say that he was there for every step of the way. Until the entire process was complete Jason had kept up with daily/weekly reminders of things we needed to do. He got on contact with the Sellers agent, our mortgage broker to work day in and day out. Even during this time we had to take vacation out of country, jason made sure to keep us in the loop and check certain statuses on the progression of the sale.

Now with the sale completed. We constantly still check in with Jason to verify all the things we need to complete after the purchase of the house. Even after his job has been completed, he’s been super attentive to research the information needed and still helps us with help with finally getting settled in the house.

My husband-to-be and I are extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and dedication we received from John Justo and The Key Project while hunting for our first home. Being first time home buyers we were both excited and terrified of the whole process but I must say, John made us feel very comfortable and reassured from beginning to end. John was so patient with us during the house search and even when we wanted to look at homes outside our budget, he would come out and give us his input which often involved bringing us back down to Earth. He truly cared about us and wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting into. Rain or shine, John was there for us. We even have a running joke about that because it seemed like whenever we met up to see a house it would be raining! We absolutely love John and The Key Project for helping us start new memories together and acquire the house we will be building our family in.
